README for 2.5x2.5 degree, PACRAIN Monthly Estimates

* Monthly rainfall estimates are derived from the Comprehensive Pacific Rainfall
Database (PACRAIN).
* Data is arranged in files for each 2.5x2.5 degree box. A file is created if 
there is a value for the box during the time span of analysis(1971-1998).
* Files have headers giving the center point of the box.
* No data is denoted by -999
* Monthly values were calculated from daily obs with the criteria that if there were 
less than 27 reporting days during the month, a missing values for that station was reported
for that month.
* Rainfall units = millimeters (mm)
